Update March 2026We just... completed our annual service and want to thank Paul for organizing everything, Dustin for making sure our heat pump and tankless hot water system was properly serviced, and Alanna for your administrative support!We are very happy and grateful for our heat pump and tankless hot water system! The heat pump keeps us warm in the winter, cool in the summer and we never run out of hot water with our tankless system!Update July 2025Thank you Jonathan and Ian for organizing an urgent repair and Dong for arriving so quickly, for your knowledge, expertise, care and attention to make sure everything was working properly and safely!! I know you had to work late to do this and it is much appreciated!!*****************************************************************October 2024This is a long overdue review that I have been meaning to write and opportunity to thank everyone involved.We had an American Standard Platinum 19 Series Variable Speed Side Discharge Heat Pump and Navien Tankless On-Demand Hot Water Heater installed during June 2023. We had an urgent need to get it done before the end of June and the Aquatech team very generously squeezed us in to what I am sure was a very very busy schedule.This is a complicated process with planning, installation, permits, rebates and trouble-shooting, and we are grateful for the knowledge, expertise, and very hard work of both the admin and technical teams.I want to take this opportunity to acknowledge and thank Roy for recognizing the urgency of our request, setting things in motion so quickly, and administrative support. Jonathan, for his knowledge, expertise, recommendations and also making things happen so quickly. James, OMGosh James - I can't imagine how we would have managed any of it without your incredible help and support through the complicated process with permits and rebates!!And the technical team, Daniel - thank you for all of your support and trouble-shooting. Arman, Manjinder and Arkan for all of your long days and hard work with the installation (I hope I haven't missed anyone!).We have been enjoying the benefits of this system for over a year now, and so grateful for the cooling in the summer and perfect heating in the fall and winter. With a 3-level house, it took a little tweaking to balance the temperatures on each level - cooler in the basement and warmer on the upper floor, but thanks to advice from Daniel we figured out a system that works and are very very grateful.And loving the on-demand unlimited hot water too! It takes a moment for the water to heat up but we never run out!Finally thank you Alanna, for your wonderful administrative support at the end of the project!I took a few photos and sorry that I didn't get more of the whole team. The team at Aquatech was very... professional and worked quickly to install my 3 mini splits!! The team worked so well together, they all got along so well!! You’d never know they were here after they left except that I now have lovely heat!! (Love the Mitsubishi mini splits!) They cleaned up meticulously after the job. The installation, from the outside looks like it has always been there, all the lines were covered in a plastic casing that matched perfectly to my trim board.I would highly recommend using Aquatech. Fantastic experience with... AquaTech last week, who replaced our 30 year old gas furnace with a Mitsubishi 2T Central Heat Pump. The team was professional, friendly, and incredibly tidy. They clearly cared about their impact in our home, and the final result looks amazing; the outdoor unit is almost seamless and they did a great job preserving our landscaping. The system heats our house more evenly and feels consistently comfortable now. Can't wait for AC in the summer! Highly recommend!read more

A great experience with a... rebate on an elec heatpump with gas back-up. Very responsive to my initial inquiry on a long weekend, and continued to be during install and after install. Prioritized us as we had no heat. Installers were polite, tidy, hardworking - everything about a tricky situation we appreciated. I definitely recommend. Ask about premium quiet options if you do a heat-pump. A bit more up front, but worth it.read more

Workmanship for installation... of my dual heat pump and furnace system are very good, detailed and very professional, such as all sheet metal works and piping are fixed in high accuracy. Electric wiring and outside cable are installed with little conversion to existing walls. All staff are good and polite, they finished the project earlier than the expected time. The company helped to process all rebate matters that is a bonus too.read more

When our 53 year-old boiler... finally packed it in we called Aqua-Tech. Jonathan and Matthew came quickly and spent an informative hour with us, looking around, discussing the electrical capabilities, (my husband is a fully qualified electrician) and different heating options. The estimate arrived promptly that afternoon. We did pursue other estimates and although Aqua-Tech was not the lowest, (but well within the field) we had the most confidence in them.Marco, Behrouz, and Milan arrived on time and stayed for 10 1/2 hours ensuring we had our hot water back as we were converting from a hot water tank to water on demand. (Rinnai Combi Boiler System) The full installation was completed the following day as promised. We were also offered space heaters during their time here. Once completed, Marco went over the system with us and we are completely satisfied with the installation and our interactions with the three technicians that were here for 2 days. It was a good experience from start to finish….and now our house is warm again. 🙂read more

I had an absolutely amazing... experience with Aquatech from start to finish. They were actually the only company that even suggested (and encouraged) that I apply for the BetterHomes rebate for a central ducted heat pump and air handler system, which made a huge difference in affordability. From day one, they were flexible, honest, and very understanding of the unique challenges of my home.When the rebate came through and I asked if installation could be done as soon as possible, they scheduled me for the very next day — which I was extremely grateful for, especially since this was at the end of November and the temperatures were already dropping to around 2–4°C and getting colder. The timing couldn’t have been better.Huge thanks to Tanya, Jody, Roy, and the entire installation team — their communication and professionalism were excellent the whole time.The installation took 3 days, mainly because my house is older and had an electrical subpanel from the late 1970s that needed to be properly reworked. My old furnace was also from that era and had actually started spitting out burnt coals, which set off my carbon monoxide alarm — so this upgrade truly came just in time.The area where the furnace was located was extremely tight and narrow, yet the team still managed to get everything installed cleanly and professionally. The hot water tank had to be moved out of the way for access, and they made sure to disconnect and reconnect the hot water each day so I was never left without it overnight. They even lent me space heaters while the system was off so the house stayed warm.Now that everything is complete, the American Standard Quest central ducted system is incredibly quiet, efficient, and works beautifully — you can barely even tell it’s running except for a gentle airflow through the vents.I can’t recommend Aquatech strongly enough. If you’re considering a heat pump or HVAC upgrade, they’re the team to call.read more

We had a great experience... using Aquatech to install a Mitsubishi Multi split heating and cooling system in our Condo. Matthew walked us through our options and provided all the information required to request an estimate. Alanna was excellent at communication and administration - acquiring the BC Hydro rebate was a seamless part of the process.The install team coordinated by Roy was excellent. They navigated a challenging installation in an efficient and professional manner minimizing any mess or damage.Couldn’t be happier with the finished product which is providing far better heating at less than half the cost of our old system.
